How to Move On
This sermon was a special request from one of our parishioners, and it deals with breakups and how to move on afterwards. I suggest a step-by-step method for moving on that involves hate and love in equal doses.

Soulful Ladies
For this sermon, I was inspired by the album “feelin’ bitchy” which was featured on a WFMU blogpost a couple of years ago. I love music by women who put their heart (usually broken) and soul into their singing. As a result, this sermon is longer than usual and much more music-filled. Enjoy.

The Ides of March
In this sermon I discuss augury, fortune telling, trying to predict the future.
The music this week was lifted from Episode #456 of Beats in Space, my very favorite radio program. There’s two and a half hours of awesome music coming out each week. The DJ, Tim Sweeney, went all funky 70’s on us a few weeks ago, and I’m hooked! The first song is Baby Strange, by T.Rex and the second song is All Right Now by Witch Queen, which I think is a cover of a Yes song. Anyone know if I’m right? So yeah, I know it’s cheating to cut from his podcast, but I really want everyone to go to his site and check it out.
Doppelganger
In this sermon, I relate the rather uncanny story of finding someone who appeared to be my exact duplicate and following him home.

A few nights later, I dreamt that I had two bodies. I had suddenly made this discovery, that I had two identical bodies between which I switched occasionally. Immediately, I realized an instant benefit: I could cut my own hair. I could be in one body and cut the hair of the other. I was thrilled.
Consciousness
In this sermon I discuss the ever perplexing question of human consciousness and my views on solipsism.

Poison or Remedy?
In this sermon, I discuss the intersection of poison and remedy, as inspired by the excellent music of Glass Candy (click on the photo to go to their site). So often it is difficult to tell the poison from the remedy, and they switch roles frequently.
